Colin is a Principal with ROCG which is an international professional service and consulting firm with offices throughout North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. ROCG is the only international firm specializing in the areas of business transition strategy, finance and operations for privately owned and emerging growth enterprises. 

Colin’s expertise in working with business owners and their families was developed during a 20 year time period while holding a variety of executive and director positions with a number of medium sized, family owned/closely held businesses. These companies were leaders in Western Canada in the retail and service sectors.  

In 1997 Colin dedicated his time to providing  consulting services to privately held businesses. As a partner in ROCG Americas, Colin is responsible for managing client engagements in the areas of business strategy and business transition services, with emphasis on the development and implementation of tactical business plans and the establishment of solid management practices to assist the owner/manager with increasing the sustainable value of their businesses and ultimately with maximizing the selling value of their businesses. 

Colin is a graduate in economics and political science from the University of Manitoba, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and a member of the institute of Management Consultants, USA. 

Colin is married to Janice. They have two children and five grand children. Colin’s pastimes are family activities and cruising in the Gulf Islands and San Juan Islands in the Pacific Northwest of the Americas.
