With over 30 years of experience working with businesses covering a diverse range of activities, mainly in the owner-managed business sector, Michael has experienced decades of changing lifestyles and business needs. Through this and his direct experience of tough times in industry, Michael understands the personal and emotional issues faced by business owners, managers and people.

Representative consulting experience includes:

  • Restructuring a company into a group structure following a strategic review to accommodate its wider development and in the process managing risk.
  • Advising a specialist service industry client in business development issues with a view to the retirement/buy-out of 2 of 3 director shareholders in 5 years time.
  • Mentoring a computer software company with a view to a possible disposal in 5 years starting with a business diagnostic performance review.
  • Coaching the owner of a progressive construction group on strategy, structure and culture through the challenges of growth, change and empowerment.
