In addition to hands-on business consulting for a wide range of clients, Terry regularly presents business development and customer service strategies for Certified Professional Education credited coursework for business professionals. He writes on business, finance and accounting issues and has a monthly bi-line in Cape Business Magazine.

In July 1985, Terry co-founded Why Me, Inc. (Worcester Help for Youth, Memories Everlasting) with his daughter, Sherry, who battled cancer for four years before succumbing to the disease at the age of 13. Why Me, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides emotional and financial support services for children diagnosed with cancer and their families, assisting more than 360 families throughout Central Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut and Southern New Hampshire. Terry has served in a volunteer capacity as Executive Director since the organization was established. In May 1993, Terry was the recipient of the annual Public Service Award from the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and was nominated for the AICPA’s national honor. He was also honored for his long-time work with Why Me, Inc.
