For the past 25 years, Mr. Dufresne specialized in consulting with SME businesses to help them create business plans, raise “angel” financing, negotiate with venture capital funds and finally to go public using an IPO or RTO strategy. A specialist in R&D financing, Mr. Dufresne helped his clients minimize their R&D costs through available government tax credits. He has served as the CFO of several small companies, was a former Vice-President Operations of the Montreal Stock Exchange and has worked in M&A corporate finance and cross border financing in New York City. He is licensed in Life Insurance and investment funds, and is the current treasurer of the Quebec Environment Foundation.
